Marvellously Marshmallowy Rice Pop Faces

There’s nothing more brilliant than bringing something to life with a pair of excellently edible eyes! And these super gooey marshmallow bars are no exception. Finish off with a liquorice torpedo for a comedy expression and you’ve got PURE FUN rice pop perfection.


35g butter

240g marshmallows

140g rice pops

Large saucepan

Baking tray lined with baking parchment

Wooden spoon

Spatula or metal spoon

Edible eyes (try Wilton Candy Eyeballs from lots of online shops)

1. Melt the butter in the saucepan on a low/ medium heat and add the marshmallows. Stir every now and again until melted.

2. Add the rice pops and stir together until combined, then pour into the lined baking tray and flatten well (a spatula or back of a metal spoon works well for this). Leave to cool.

3. Cut up into rough rectangles, stick on the eyes (no need for anything other than squishing them in place as the marshmallow is sticky enough) and a funny torpedo shaped mouth, and munch!

Warning to fellow marshmallow lovers – they are ridiculously moorish!
